Peach & Ricotta Scones

We can't do without fruits in our house.  My daughter, Dylan and I love them too much. But none of the boys are fans of peaches or nectarines, so when Dylan asks her Dad to buy some for her, she tends to be the only one eating it. Ricky thing is, like me, Dylan only likes nectarines and peaches when they're firm and crunchy or slightly soft.

We took our kids to Banff last weekend to enjoy the last few weeks together with a nice family hike.  I want to be up front with this. I did not pick the hike.  Ian likes to go through instagram pictures, select which view he likes and which one he wants to snap a pic of himself in, and that's how he picks the destination.

I've been practicing yoga on my own for a few years now.  Recently though, my yoga practice hasn't been serious.  Still, I somehow incorporate some yoga pose into my workout at the gym when the aerobics room.  I practice handstands, backbends and use some yoga poses to stretch out my muscles after a long and grueling weight training workout.

Sun's out, shorts out! 

I've always loved shorts. For some reason, I've always thought it made me look taller. Being 5 feet (maybe pushing 5'1" - one can hope) I have to make myself seem taller than I really am. In my high school years that meant shorts + heels. I went to Christian private school though, so short shorts were a HUGE no no.  So I stuck with heels.
