Summer Cocktails to Love!

Summer Cocktails to Love!

I'm a social drinker.  Well, I guess most people are, right?  I like to hold a cocktail in my hand while I mingle at events, or have it in front of me to sip on to extend conversations with friends, but other than a glass (or two) of wine at home I'm not a very big drinker.

I like my drinks fruity. fresh and delicious - almost like a refreshing slushee.  so when I had a "large" bowl - yes, bowl - of passion fruit margarita in Cancun a couple weeks ago, I wasn't sure if I should be excited or mortified.  In the occasion of Cinco de Mayo, and because I miss Mexico, here are a few margarita recipes I love.

3. Grey Goose Femme Fatale

This cocktail has been the best I have ever had.  So far, nothing has been comparable.  Absolutely delicious. And the name says it all *wink*
__________
Ingredients:

> 1 3/4 parts Grey Goose® Original
> 1/3 parts Gancia Americano
> 1/3 parts Lychee Juice
> 1/2 parts raspberry Puree
> 1/3 parts Chambord®
> 2 drops rose water
> 1/2 Lemon Juice

Preparation:

Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake vigorously.  Strain into the glass with ice.
If available, garnish with a black rose.

Tip:
you can make your own rose water by boiling rose petals for 45 minutes with water and then strain the contents into a jar.  Varying the rose petals to the water gives you full control over preferred taste.

4. Rosemary Gin & Tonic

Ingredients:

> 3 sprigs rosemary
> 4 oz tonic water
> 2 oz gin

Preparation:

Shake the gin and the tonic in a shaker.  Adding cucumber gives it a refreshing taste. Adding the rosemary into the mix elevates the herbal notes in the gin.
